Well when the alarm sounded this morning, there was no sunlight blazing through the hotel windows. From AZ this is something i have grown accustomed to in the past 23 years. Fog, haze, overcast, whatever you so-cal-ers call this its disturbing to us desert dwellers. Regardless i made the solo walk to the car in the hotel parking lot in the morning drizzle. No need to wipe it down with the threat of more rain. Fired it up and made the short trek to Woodley park in Van Nuys to take in the fall fling car show. Met up with more friends and made several more while i was there. After i was looking at cars and parts that i didnt need i came back to find a special ribbon on the mirror of the car. No trophies at fall fling so this is their special reward.
The rain held off for the day so i was able to keep the top down and overheard a lot of nice compliments as i sat just out of sight. Nice day to nap under a tree, which i did for a bit. Not sue what the afternoon has in store, but ill take pictures.
